When utilizing clozapine for the care of patients diagnosed with serious mental illness, we have found that the implementation of appropriate TDM has been vital to improving clinical outcomes. An effective TDM strategy can enhance patient adherence, ensure appropriate dose titration, and establish a patient’s baseline for ongoing monitoring. Dr. Ehret will provide insights into the rationale for rapid clozapine levels, including key information on best practices for implementation. A case-based approach will be utilized to illustrate real-world scenarios where rapid clozapine levels were utilized to improve patient care.
